Our Rose Clay Tulle hand-dyed tapestries brought an ethereal and romantic ambiance to this stunning Indonesian-inspired styled shoot captured by Revel Photography. Taking inspiration from both Indonesian and Western wedding influences, Melissa Dawn Event Designs styled the shoot with gorgeous gold and cream details. The bride Kylie’s Indonesian and Canadian heritage, which she payed homage to in both her real wedding and this styled shoot, brought a beautiful meld of cultural heritage and modern minimalism. The Brownstone in Calgary, Alberta was the perfect venue for this stunning fusion editorial. From the gorgeous flower arrangements by Hen & Chicks, to the sophisticated stationary by Pink Umbrella Designs and the classic table detailing with pieces from Modern Rentals, every aspect of this styled shoot combined to create a cohesive, elegantly neutral look. Kylie’s bridal attire included a traditional Sunting, a crown sourced directly from Indonesia. Over the minimalist Theia Couture Lindsay Dress from Bisou Bridal, Kyle wore a traditional custom lace kebaya, crafted by Irvan Adiputra in Jakarta. Leeanne Pilkington Makeup Artistry tied the whole bridal look together with elevated hair and makeup.
